Main Taunus International School receives large donation from a longstanding stakeholder in School, to be used for establishment of a 21st century technology platform.

The wish of this anonymous donor is to see the donation used for development and advancement of the school as they see MTIS to be an amazing opportunity for the community and their family.

Since March the MTIS IT Manager, Duncan Powell has been working day and night in consultation with CEO Hans-Peter Dahlmann and Director to revamp the infrastructure, network, and hardware of the school: adding everything from new servers, printing systems, cyber security, cloud resources, interactive displays, etc. to school’s disposal.

CEO, Hans-Peter Dahlmann: “It’s clear that the best IT brings immediate return on investment to the school and adds great value to the students and faculty. This is why we’ve made it a high priority to bring the technological systems at MTIS onto a very high level of performance.”

With the most recent donation, Duncan Powell has chosen to put it directly towards a school management system that will improve the educational experience for all involved with the school.

IT Manager, Duncan Powell: “The Capita-SIMS School Management System allows us to communicate with the entire school and community as a whole, whilst providing transparency and benefits to the entire faculty, staff, administration, and student body. We are very thankful for this donation as it allows us to take yet another big step towards where we want to be as a school and the technology we want to offer our families.”

We are proud of the progress our school is making and thankful to those that have seen the opportunity our school is to this community. Definitely a sign of good things yet to come as our stakeholders continue to open up and invest, endorse, and promote our school with their time and resources.
