David Lobzhanidze Named Trainer of Hessen Chess Federation

David Lobzhanidze has been named as Trainer of the Hessen Chess Federation – leads unit of youth players to German Championships in Willingen on June 3rd

David Lobzhanidze, Chess Academy Director at MTIS, has received yet another accolade in his prestigious career – being named the Trainer of the Hessen Chess Federation for the upcoming National Championships in Willingen.

“This is a very important event in German chess. I am excited to see how our kids will perform, especially to take a look at Dominik Laux in action as he is slated to enroll at our school in August.” – David Lobzhanidze, MTIS Chess Academy Director

The German Chess Championships are held yearly for 500 of the top boys and girls across the nation where they compete in their age division for the top spot in Germany. Winners qualify to compete at the European and World Championships later in the year.

The German Championships will be held in Willingen at the Panorama Hotel from June 3 – 11

We look forward to David Lobzhanidze continuing his work at MTIS, in the Chess Federation of Hessen and at the National Championships in June.
